Is BoxMockup free?
Yes. The current beta is free to use, including PNG and GIF exports, with no account or card required. We may introduce paid features later; there is no subscription or checkout today.
Can I use my own artwork?
Absolutely. Add a PNG, JPEG or WebP image to any of the six faces. Adjust its fit, rotation, scale and position until it looks right. Each image can be up to 25 MB.
What can I export?
Export PNG images at up to 4096 pixels, with an optional transparent background, or rotating GIFs at up to 1024 pixels. Export size and speed depend on your browser and graphics hardware.
Can I change the box dimensions?
Yes. Start with a template or enter your own width, depth and height in millimetres. All current templates are closed rectangular boxes; other packaging shapes will come later.
Where is my artwork stored?
Your artwork is processed in your browser. Optional local autosave starts only if you allow it in Cookie settings; you can turn it off and delete the saved copy at any time. Download a project file for a reliable backup or to move work to another computer.
Will there be AI product photography?
That is on the roadmap, alongside more packaging styles and premium export options. The current studio uses real-time 3D rendering, and there are no AI credits or paid features available yet.
